The jury held Regent Care responsible and awarded over $13.5 million in damages.
The verdict was reduced by prior settlement credits and the Damage Cap for medical cases, resulting in a recovery of $5,000,000. Attorney fees were $2 million. Expenses for the case were $165,000.
